BOURBON COUNTY · KENTUCKY
Paris realtor for buyers and sellers
Paris is Bourbon County’s seat, and it is my office base. Winchester Street is home base, which keeps listing appointments, signings, and last-minute walk-throughs close.
Paris really has two markets. In town, you are buying the lot, the updates, and how the house lives day to day. A few minutes out, acreage, barns, soil, and road frontage can matter more than the bedroom count. Mixing those sales is how a good house gets the wrong price.
Why I work in Paris
I can stand in a Paris kitchen in the morning and a Cynthiana or Georgetown showing in the afternoon without handing you to a call center.
Farm and in-town buyers do not want the same short list. I ask which one you are before I send houses.
Downtown and in-town streets
Older homes near Main need a careful look at the roof, heat, and electric, not just the front of the house. If you want to be in town, say that early.
Horse-country acreage
Bourbon County land is not a subdivision lot with a longer driveway. Fencing, water, outbuildings, and how the acreage is taxed and used change the offer.
Cross-shopping
Many Paris buyers also look at Millersburg, Cynthiana, and the north side of Lexington. I’ll tell you when a Bourbon County property is the better fit, and when it is not.
